You Can't Brew All the Beers: Support for Guest Beers
If you're using BrewBoard in a taproom or bar, or even if you're a homebrewer with a larger kegerator or a passion for collecting beers, our most recent update may be for you.
When adding or editing a beer you can now indicate whether the beer is brewed inhouse or whether it is a guest beer produced by a third-party brewery. In the latter case you can enter the brewery name.

In addition, we've added a function so you can control the display of brewery names on your BrewBoard. By default brewery names are not shown. But you can select to show brewery names, or show brewery names only for guest beers. This latter setting suits a taproom serving mainly their own beers, but with one or two guest taps.

Note that you can also mark a brew as third-party but leave the brewery name empty, which supports adding sparkling water, sodas, etc to your boards if you serve more than just beer.
Brewery names show on the mobile/desktop BrewBoard view and also on the full-screen BrewBoards. But do note that some themes are more space-constrained than others, so have limits on the how much text they can show for the brewery and beer name combination. We'll develop some themes in future which better support longer names for those who need that.
As this feature is mainly useful to commercial taprooms, breweries and bars - or at least the more invested home brewer - it's available only for those with a paid subscription. If it appeals to you, you can subscribe for less than the cost of a pint a month, though, and support the further development of BrewBoard.app.
